STRING LIGHTS AT FLOS SHOWROOM, MILAN 2014
To mark the launch of his String Lights collection, Michael Anastassiades conceived an installation for the Flos flagship showroom in Milan. An iconic result of the collaboration between the designer and Flos, String Lights gives the customer complete freedom of expression, allowing them to ‘draw’ in a three-dimensional space using an endless length of thin cable attached to the lamp. The installation plays with the idea of a theatrical backdrop, along with the perception of depth and perspective – as if an imaginary stage is unveiling itself in front of the viewer.
