Michael Anastassiades has chosen 3-days of design for the first launch of two new families of floor lamps.
Both families evolved from the development of a custom linear LED bulb, an advanced re-design of the standard linear signature tube that the designer has been using since the creation of his brand in 2007. Each bulb is hand-built using an opaline borosilicate tube and illuminated using a smart arrangement of LEDs that emanate a warm, all-round illumination. The bulb is self-powered and can be used in a series of spontaneous configurations. As a result, these distinct families of floor lamps are a simple exercise of how to support the bulb in a vertical position.
