ONE WELL KNOWN SEQUENCE -01010101010101 MOLTENI
Specifically conceived for the Molteni Group flagship store in New York, this light intervention responds to Vincent Van Duysen’s minimalistic architecture. The concept behind Anastassiades’ One Well Known Sequence collection was adopted and extended to connect the store’s two levels with a rhythmic bar of light. With his signature use of a 1m linestra bulb as a module that measures the space around it, Anastassiades creates an architectural intervention that magnifies the formal qualities of the surrounding environment by means of radical simplicity.
